Updation of PAN and Aadhaar details under NPS

A.    Updation of PAN:

You can update your PAN by submitting the physical request to your associated Nodal Office. You need to download Form S2 (Subscriber Details Change Form) / PAN & Aadhaar Update Form from CRA website (www.npscra.nsdl.co.in) and submit the same to the Nodal Office. On receipt of the request, the Nodal Office will update PAN in the CRA system.

 B.     Seeding of Aadhaar:

 I. Aadhaar Seeding by accessing CRA website:

 A facility is available to Subscribers to seed Aadhaar in the CRA system using login credentials. In this regard, you need to follow below steps:

•  You can link your Aadhaar to NPS account by accessing CRA website.

•       You are required to log-in to your NPS account (www.cra-nsdl.com) and select the option of ‘Update Aadhaar/Address Details’ under the main menu ‘Update Details’.

•       The option will be available to provide Aadhaar & generate OTP. Also, you need to accept the consent for seeding of Aadhaar under NPS.

•       On accepting consent for Aadhaar seeding, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with UIDAI.

·         On entering the correct OTP, the details registered under NPS will get authenticated with details available in UIDAI database.

•       On successful authentication, your Aadhaar will get seeded under NPS.

II. Aadhaar Seeding through NPS Mobile App:

You can link your Aadhaar to your NPS account using Mobile App. You need to log into the App with your User ID & password and select the option of ‘Add/Update Aadhaar Number’ & follow the septs as mentioned above under Point I for seeding of Aadhaar.

III. Aadhaar Updation through Nodal Office:

You can update your Aadhaar by submitting the physical request to your associated Nodal Office. You need to download PAN & Aadhaar Update Form from CRA website ( www.npscra.nsdl.co.in ) and submit the same to the Nodal Office. On receipt of the request, the Nodal Office will update Aadhaar details in the CRA system.

Note:

1.      You are required to seed Aadhaar in your PRAN through the above process even if Aadhaar was provided earlier under NPS.
